The decision not to prosecute police officer Darren Wilson, who shot dead the unarmed black teenager Michael Brown, has been greeted with horror by the hip-hop community.
As peaceful protests and a small, heavily documented instances of rioting broke out in Ferguson and across the US a number of voices in the hip-hop community and beyond spoke out.
No value for black life. But they extrapolate our magic , sweat, our voice our fire... And leave us stripped of our right to exist

Because black people will never be seen as equal no matter what, all of us could be shot dead and it wouldn't be seen as an epidemic

I wonder if the grand jury would reach the same decision if the officer had a video camera attached to his forehead during the incident.

The system that instills & protects white supremacy wins again. Humanity loses...No justice. I pray for Mike Brown & his family. So sad.
