Colour The Atlas have revealed the psychedelic video for their haunting track 'Look Inside Your Mind'. Watch it first on Gigwise below.
Originally called Jess Hall Band after their lead singer, Colour The Atlas's name-change marked a changed in musical direction for the four-piece, all of whom, sickeningly, are 21 years old.
As Hall points out, "We have grown up and changed a lot, and our music is definitely growing with us."
'Look Inside Your Mind' wears its Portishead influences on its sleeve, but the airy vibrato on Hall's vocals and the song's richly layered, haunting chorus cement the track's originality. As for the equally haunting video - it intercuts kaleidoscope images of the band with a technicolour cross-section of an eyeball.
