David Cameron has revealed that he is a big fan of Mercury nominee Nick Mulvey, who has described how he feels 'a bit sick' about the association.
In what may prove to be the 2015 equivalent of Tom Watson recommending Drenge or Gordon Brown throwing his weight behind Arctic Monkeys, Cameron has revealed a liking for Mercury nominated Nick Mulvey.
Speaking to the Mail On Sunday, the Prime Minister revealed that Mulvey has joined First Aid Kit on the Number 10 ipod even though he is "a bit grungy I admit'. Mulvey was then asked how he felt about the endorsement by a fan on Twitter and he replied 'a bit sick'.
“@RosaPrinceUK: Hey @nickmulveymusic how do you feel about being David Cameron's @Number10gov new fave? http://t.co/0bziPcXzbm” < a bit sick

David Cameron has form in liking musicians who despise him. Johnny Marr famously placed a ban on the Prime Minister listening to The Smiths and Paul Weller, when informed that Cameron used to listen to 'Eton Rifles' said it "wasn't intended as a fucking jolly drinking song for the cadet corps".
