Noel Gallagher has published a new blog post in which he says "Who gives a fuck" about the forthcoming general election.
Gallagher recently carried out a seven-date tour of Japan, which came to an end on Thursday (16 April) in Tokyo.
In a blog post published by The Huffington Post, Gallagher described the Japanese crowd as "quieter than a comedy club that Madonna's doing stand up at (did you see that thing? Holy shit balls!!)"
Gallagher was referring to Madonna's recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon, during which she tried her hand at stand-up comedy. Her routine included jokes about asking her 14 year old son Rocco if he has any friends he could set her up with, and her experiences dating younger men. She also explained why several jokes were funny and asked not to be pulled off stage - though it's worth pointing out that she seemed aware of how awful she was.

He also expressed his contempt for the forthcoming general election, which takes place on 7 May in the UK, writing, "Who gives a fuck about that anyway? 79% of the fiscal this...2.4% growth of the annual that, spend, cut, borrow, lend, build...blah, blah FUCKING BLAH. Say something radical you utterly contemptible bastards."
The blog post comes amidst strong rumours that Oasis are set to reform, after he buried the hatchet with brother Liam Gallagher.
Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds are playing a handful of UK festivals this summer, including T In The Park and Clapham's Calling Festival. For tickets and more information, click here.
