The Smashing Pumpkins have announced their first acoustic tour, which will kick off on June 15 in Buffalo, New York.
The ‘In Plainsong – An Acoustic-Electro Evening’ tour will not only include Smashing Pumpkins songs, but will also feature songs from Zwan and William Corgan’s solo works.
The Smashing Pumpkins will also be embarking on a joint tour with Marilyn Manson. ‘The End Times’ tour will begin July 7 in Concord, California, and will run through August 8 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Smashing Pumpkins are currently promoting their 2014 LP Monuments To An Elegy. They recently performed song ‘Drum And Fife’, which is taken from that album, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, along with The Killers’ bassist Mark Stoermer and Rage Against The Machine’s drummer Brad Wilk.
