Iggy Azalea has been granted a prelminary injunction regarding early recordings she made as a teenager in Houston.
As Billboard reports, Azalea filed a lawsuit against her ex boyfriend Maurice Williams in September. It is claimed that Williams (aka Hefe Wine) downloaded the entire contents of her computer, including unreleased master recordings.
Through a series of dubious recording agreements and what appear to be forged signatures, Williams claimed to have an agreement which gave them the rights to release an EP by Azalea (entitled 'Inizio'), supposedly along with a sex tape.
Azalea has been granted a preliminary injuction by the judge, and has won back her right of first publication of the material. Some of the unreleased material has already been posted online by Williams, such as 'U Ain't My Daddy Lyric Video' and Hefe Wine's 'It Ain't Trickin' Ft Iggy Azalea'.
The case continues.
