Glastonbury Festival has announced details for its annual Emerging Talent Competition for 2015. Find how out to apply below.
Every year the iconic festival offers a chance for unsigned and under the radar bands and artists to send their music to a specially selected judging panel, with one lucky act chosen to play a main stage at that summer's event.
As well as that incredibly sought after prize, the winning act is also awarded £5000 to help develop their songwriting and performing skills, whilst two runners up are given £2500 respectively.
Acts who want to be considered have just one week to apply, from 9am Monday 19 January until 5pm on Monday 26 January, with artists of any genre allowed to enter.
In order to be considered, artists simply have to upload a link to one song on soundcloud, and a video link of them performing live in some capacity.
40 of the UK's top music writers will compile a longlist of 120 acts, which will then subsequently be cut down to 8 artists who will play a special 'battle of the bands' live final at Pilton Working Men's Club in April.
Artists can apply through the Glastonbury official website from Monday (19 January).
Glastonbury Festival 2015 takes place between 24-28 June. Keep an eye on Gigwise for coverage across this year's event.
