After months of speculation, and mere days after confirming the release, last night (20 January) saw Bjork surprise release her new album Vulnicura.
Counteracting a leak of the record earlier this week, the Icelandic icon continued her experimental history by releasing the album on iTunes late last night, with physical releases to follow in March, when it was originally set for release.
Naturally, Bjork releasing her first new album for nearly four years in a pretty huge deal, so justifiably twitter got pretty excited with the news.
Here's how musicians have reacted so far to the surprise release of Vulnicura:
Can't believe it's been around 12 hours and no one's yet reviewed the new Bjork album

overall conclusion of Björk's Vulnicura: it's reminded me of how insanely painful heartbreak is and I've now decided I'm never dating again.
