It's a great time to be a Death Cab For Cutie fan, as the band have unveiled new track 'Black Sun' as well as announcing two London shows. Check out the song and ticket details below.
'Black Sun' picks up were Codes & Keys left off, with sweet and sombre melodies and synths atop a tightly locked, almost kraut-rock drum beat, as frontman Ben Gibbard miserablist poetry simmers gracefully. Things soon subtly ascend into a fiery post-punk affair.
Death Cab for Cutie release new album Kintsugi on 30 March, before returning to the UK to play London's Shepherds Bush Empire on 8 and 9 June. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 30 January, following a pre-sale on Wednesday 28 January. For tickets and more information, visit here.
