The Amazing Snakeheads have abruptly announced that they've split up, 'never, ever to return'.
The Glasgow punk trio rose to great acclaim with their Domino-released 2014 debut album, Amphetamine Ballads.
They recently pulled out of the ongoing NME Awards tour due to drummer Scott Duff quitting the band. They were already announced for a number of festivals this summer, including Portsmouth's Victorious Festival, but now they've taken to Twitter to announce their sudden demise:
The Amazing Snakeheads are over. Never, ever to return. To anyone who came to get down, I thank you with all my heart. Dale Barclay.

The band are yet to ellaborate on further reason behind their split, but it's sure to upset many a fan - especially due to their cult status growing stronger after largely universally glowing reviews of Amphetamine Ballads.
