Despite the fact that Clara Amfo only took the reins in January, Radio One's Official Chart Show is being moved to Fridays and will be hosted by Greg James.
The decision has been made in response to the newly-announced global release day, which means that music will now be released on a Friday globally. The Official Charts Company subsequently announced that they will publish the chart on a Friday, and thus Radio One has been forced to adapt in order to not be 48 hours behind.
Amfo began presenting the 3 hour Sunday show in January, taking over from Jameela Jamil. Her time there will be short-lived though, as Greg James will now be helming the chart countdown on Fridays between 4pm and 6pm.

Don't feel too upset for Amfo though - she'll be taking over Fearne Cotton's mid-morning show, which includes the Live Lounge, after Cotton leaves in May.
The Official Chart Show will move to Sundays from 4-6pm in July. The final hour (6-7pm) of James' Friday show will continue to be dedicated to dance anthems.
