Years & Years have been added to the bill of Barclaycard British Summertime, supporting Kylie Minogue on her date at London's Hyde Park. See the full details below.
Already shaping up to be one of the biggest pop moments of the summer, today the festival announced that Mika, Years & Years, Bright Light Bright Light and Ekkah will be joining the bill on Sunday 21 June.
Also added to the festival lineup will be another Gigwise favourite in the form of Sunday Best (celebrating their 20th anniversary with Rob Da Bank, Mylo and the Correspondents) as well as Pride in London curating The Carnival Stage.

The booking marks a great six months for Years & Years, including winning Sound of 2015 and a number one record with 'King'. The band's debut album Communion is out on 22 June.
Chatting to Gigwise recently at Eurosonic Noorderslag, the band explained how they felt when they topped BBC's Sound of 2015 poll. "We found out when we were in LA, so like a week or two before," they told us. "To be honest until it got announced, I don't think any of us believed it really... We were like, 'Maybe they lied, maybe it was a hoax...'"
Despite the pressures that come with winning such a prestigious award though, they insisted, "It doesn't worry us. it's scary but it's good, it's bracing. It snaps you out of it and makes you think, 'Wow people are listening to us' and we know that more people will be listening to us, so it is daunting but it's fun because we have a chance."
Already announced on the bill are Kylie Minogue, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and Grace Jones. As Jones herself put it, "I'll bring the Jekyll to Hyde Park". Other acts due to feature across the festival include Ellie Goulding, Paul Weller, John Newman, Kaiser Chiefs and Johnny Marr.
