The Foo Fighters are scheduled to play a free show in Niles, Ohio to Celebrate Record Store Day.
On Saturday, April 18, the band will be performing live at the Record Connection at 12pm, and the show will be limited to 150 fans.
Tickets to the show, which is open to all ages, are limited to one per customer. In order to snag a ticket, fans must pre-order ‘Songs From the Laundry Room’ from the Record Connection. Pre-sale begins at 10am tomorrow (April 16), and it must be done in person.
‘Songs From the Laundry Room’, which will be released as a special 10”, was recorded at Barrett Jones’ Laundry Room Studios in Seattle and collects early versions of 'Alone + Easy Target' and 'Big Me', in the form of Dave Grohl solo demos. It also includes a cover of Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America' and unreleased track 'Empty Handed'.
Grohl previously told Rolling Stone of the early Foos tracks: "I'd never been the singer of a band and I'd never been the principal songwriter of a band. So to me it was just this private experiment, not something that I wanted lots of people to hear, because I didn't necessarily like my voice.”
The ‘Songs From The Laundry Room’ tracklist is:
Side A
01. 'Alone + Easy Target' (demo version)
02. 'Big Me' (demo version)
Side B
01. 'Kids In America'
02. 'Empty Handed'
