More rapping, less 'Starships' + no Lil Wayne
3: A pop banger is allowed, but there can't be two that sound the same: We unashamedly danced our arses off to Nicki's 'Starships' upon its release. Then it came out again, but it was called 'Pound The Alarm', and we were confused. If you're not getting our use of heavy irony here, both songs basically sounded EXACTLY THE SAME. High octane verse, breakdown for a chorus, then a mad, pumping techno instrumental. Yes, going pop is fine Nicki, but one song only. ONE SONG. And no RedOne.

Nicki Minaj is back with a vengeance, and you know what? We're very happy she is.
When she's good, she's very, very good, and luckily her new single 'Lookin' Ass N***a' is VERY good indeed. The pared down production, the aggressive delivery and priceless zingers, not to mention the atmospheric black and white video in which she takes literal shots at her peers - amazing.
'Lookin' Ass N***a' is set to be the first single from her new album The Pink Print. We haven't seen a release from Nicki since November 2012, nor seen a full length record of new material since April 2012 - so needless to say we're pretty excited for this one.
There's also some things we want, need and deserve from The Pink Print. For example - less Lil Wayne. Check out the six other things we'd like to see from Nicki's third studio album.
