As the BBC continue their rundown of the Sound Of 2015 shortlist, singer-songwriter has come in at No.2 in the poll.
Said to have been discovered after a fan uploaded a video of him performing in a Kentish Town pub, James Bay has gained attention for his gravelly voice and uplifting, gospel-tinged choruses. Already winner of the BRITs Critics' Choice Award and likely to top a fair few other lists, his heartfelt folk looks set to dominate 2015.
The winner of the BBC Sound of 2015 poll will be named tomorrow, joining the likes of George The Poet, Stormzy and Raury. Still in the running are Lapsley, Years & Years, Wolf Alice, Slaves and more.
