Are you a creative type and want to perform at one of the world's most legendary festivals? Then you're in luck, as Glastonbury are seeking 'poets, lyricists, spoken word artists, troubadours, story tellers, stand-up poets and slam-champs'.

No, we don't know what a 'slam-champ' is either, but it sounds cool.

Glasto's Poetry&Words area are looking for people to come forward to perform at the festival, as well as get their work published on their poetry page.

If you want to apply, then you can e-mail poetryandwords@hotmail.co.uk with your poetry CV and 1-3 video or audio files of you performing your work. You can also send attachments and web links.

Applications will close at 5pm on Friday 6 March 2015. Successful applicants will hear back within two months.

Glastonbury Festival 2015 takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 24 - 28 June 2015. Lionel Richie is the only act to be confirmed so far, while other rumours include Foo Fighters, Queen + Adam Lambert, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, The Libertines, Florence + The Machine, Prince and many more.

Glasto boss Michael Eavis recently revealed that he takes home a salary of just £60,000 from the festival's £32million income.
