Field Day takes place in East London this weekend, as the event celebrates its biggest year yet, taking place across two days and boasting perhaps the best new music line-up of 2014.
Sadly, the weather isn't going to be brilliant, at least, not if you are heading down to see Sky Ferreira, Todd Terje, Jon Hopkins, Jagwar Ma, Blood Orange and Jamie on Saturday.
The London forecast for Saturday 7 June 2014 is for rain. Lots and lots of rain. Forecasters are predicting a downpour from the early hours of the morning - which will then continue throughout he day, with a chance of clearing in time for headline performances from the likes of Metronomy, SBTRKT and Danny Brown. Maybe...
Things look brighter on Sunday 8 June 2014 - the second day of thecity festival, when Pixies, The Horrors, Future Islands and more will perform. Sunday forecasts are for sunshine and cloud throughout the entire day, making for a much more pleasant festival experience, despite some inevitable damage to the ground due to Saturday's expected downpour.
Of course, all this is subject to change and not necessarily for the better. Certain sources are predicting that the worst UK storms in 170 years will batter the UK, with The Express newspaper warning of tornadoes, hailstorms and lightning strikes.
