The Desert Island Disco themed Bestival have just announced their 2014 comedy stage lineup. See the full details below.
Set in the Spiegeltent, the comedy lineup includes ventriloquist Nina Conti, comedy rapper Abandoman, 'expert shouter' Andrew Maxwell and the UK's most exciting sketch troupe Late Night Gimp Fight.
There will also be appearances from Alistair Barrie, Felicity Ward, Damian Clark, Gordon Southern, Barry Castagnola, Benny Boot, Matt Reed, Wayne Deakin, Kai Humphries, Danny McLoughlin, Ivo Graham, Paul Myrehaug, Lou Sanders, Sarah Bennetto, Alex Edelman, Luke Benson, Hannah George & Matt Hitt, and Marcus Olaoire.
Bestival organiser Rob da Bank says: “There’s always so much to do at Bestival, sometimes even I don’t know which way to turn, but one thing you should definitely make time to check out is the comedy in the Spiegeltent. The line-up this year is top-notch with Nina Conti, Abandoman, young whippersnapper Daniel Sloss and our old mate Andrew Maxwell being just a few highlights from a line-up that includes some of the maddest funny people around.”
This year's Bestival headliners are Beck, Outkast, Foals and Chic featuring Nile Rodgers. Other acts appearing include Disclosure, Busta Rhymes and Basement Jaxx.
Bestival takes place at Robin Hill County Park on the Isle Of Wight from 4-7 September. For more information visit Gigwise Tickets.
