Blondie's drummer Clem Burke has said that the band's current world tour could be their last.
Speaking to The Province, Burke said that Debbie Harry had been flirting with the idea of hanging up her hat during their time on the road. He added it stems from Harry being older than the rest of the band and that despite this, he feels like they will "live forever". Meaning that after this tour it could potentially be the last for the legendary band.
“By the time we get to beautiful Vancouver, B.C., we will have toured Europe, played Glastonbury and done a number of big festivals in North America,” said Burke. “As for the rumours of the last tour, we've decided we’ll live forever. But Debbie, is older than me and has hinted it could be time. Obviously without her, there is no Blondie.”
