There are some tribute bands whose names are so incredible that we have little to no interest in whether they're actually any good. Oasish are one such band.
If you're going to make a career out of copying someone else, it's important to show your creativity through a clever, preferably funny, band name. Last month Jay Apperley, the lead singer of the UK's Foo Fighters tribute band was invited on stage by Dave Grohl to perform with the actual band. That's pretty impressive, but his band's name? The UK Foo Fighters. *tumbleweed*
