Rihanna has shared a photo of her in the studio, suggesting that a new album may be released in the near future.
This week Rihanna shared a blurry, darkened studio shot announcing she was back in the studio, presumably to record the followup to 2012's Unapologetic.

Having released a new album every year from 2009-2012, fans have been expecting a new LP for some time: not least because Rihanna found time to appear in Peter Berg's film Battleship, release a MAC cosmetic line, befriend the World Cup winning German football team and alter red carpet dress codes forever by sporting a transparent Swarovski gown to the CFDAs.
She recently completed the hugely successful Monster tour with Eminem in the US but her only 2014 studio collaboration was the decidedly forgettable cigar-smoking Europop of 'Can't Remember To Forget You' with Shakira.
Naturally we have sky high hopes for Rihanna's new record - given that she rejected Grimes' wonderful 'Go' we can only guess at the quality of material she will approve. One thing is for certain: unlike Unapologetic one suspects she won't be taking a plane load full of journalists on a world wide tour.
