The first line-up announcement for the Isle of Wight Festival 2015 is due Monday and Fleetwood Mac are just one of the rumoured headliners hoped to appear.
The Isle of Wight Festival announced the first line-up announcement is coming at 5pm on Monday.
Organisers are remaining tight-lipped about who the first acts on the list will be, but promoter John Giddings said: "I am trying to contain my excitement. It is someone I have been after for years".
Naturally there is much speculation over who will be appearing at the island festival but website Efestivals is currently listing Fleetwood Mac, The Strokes and Kasabian alongside Maroon 5, Spandau Ballet and The Who as possible headliners. The reliable rumour website did the same earlier this year, predicting the successful bookings of Muse and Slipknot at Download.
Fleetwood Mac have recently announced they will be touring the UK next year so it seems reasonable that they could appear at the Isle of Wight next summer. The band are still hotly-tipped to perform at Glastonbury despite founder Michael Eavis' denials.
Make sure you check out the Isle of Wight Festival website at 5pm on Monday for the exclusive announcement.
