Katy Perry turned London's O2 into her own garish idea of ancient Egypt in a day-glo performance of her current single, 'Dark Horse'. Watch it below.
Dressed as a pop cleopatra, the singer performed her new single on a stage themed like a neon temple. It was typically understated. The singer went home empty handed however, losing out to Lorde in the Best International Female category.

Katy Perry's career goes from strength to strength, having recently matched Rihanna for most No.1s on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, with both singers amassing 11 top spot-placing hits.
Perry tied Rihanna as her latest single, the Juicy J-featuring 'Dark Horse', rose two places from No 3 to No 1. It is Perry's second chart topper from her most recent album, Prism, whose lead single 'Roar' topped the charts for five weeks in September. Second single 'Unconditionally' failed to make as much of a splash, peaking at No.8.
