Watch: Metallica's bear hunting parody from Glastonbury

Glastallica is the band's answer to their critics

Watch: Metallica's bear hunting parody from Glastonbury Photo:

Before they played at Glastonbury on Saturday (28 June), Metallica showed a short film that parodied bear hunting. See the video below.

The film entitled Glastallica, sees iconic movie The Good The Bad And The Ugly suddenly interrupted by footage of a fox hunt. As the riders chase down the fox, four bears emerge from the shrubbery and start to wreak righteous vengeance with hunting rifles and muskets. Wouldn't you know it, it's only James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammet hiding under there. Up yours critics.

Following the video Metallica played a hugely triumphant and hugely heavy set, making history as the first metal band to headline Glastonbury. "Metallica loves you, Glastonbury," said James Hetfield as they closed the set. "You made us feel so good. Thank you for having us."
