At an event for charity organisation MyMusicRx, Stephen Malkmus performed a cover of Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' at the request of his own daughter. Watch the video below.
The video sees Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks performing a cover of Swift's chart topper to an audience of children, and you can watch it yourself below. The show was put on by MyMusicRx to raise money for kids and teenagers facing serious illnesses, aiming to cheer them up and even heal them through music.

The song was a request from one of Malkmus' daughters (who are aged 8 and 11), and was presumably not a song he would have chosen himself - as he spends the performance not-so-subtly reading the lyrics from his phone. At the end, he puts the phone back into his pocket to finish the song with a pretty awesome guitar solo.
