Blur have released the latest track from their new album The Magic Whip. Listen to 'Lonesome Street' below.
The band have already aired 'Go Out' and 'There Are Too Many Of Us' from long-awaited new album The Magic Whip but have now streamed a new track. Premiered for the first time live at Blur's initmate gig at Mode in West London last week, 'Lonesome Street' is the most animated Damon Albarn has sounded on a Blur track since 'Crazy Beat'.
A funky, upbeat throwback with choppy guitars and vaguely Public Service Broadcasting sound effects, it bodes well for the album to come. In the best possible way it could almost have fitted on The Great Escape.
