This is the second song to be released from the album, as they recently shared 'Barbarian'. Speaking of that song, frontman Justin Hawkins described it as "not one but two dramatic monologues, a guitar solo that has been declared 'irresponsible', a riff that weakens lady-knees and a chorus that makes grown men shit directly into their pants...The lyrics describe the Viking invasion of East Anglia which culminated in the decapitation of Edmund the Martyr. So yeah, classic Darkness.”
So, if you're interested in hearing what else Last Of Our Kind - due out June 1 - has to offer, check out 'Open Fire'. This one's also pretty classic Darkness, as Hawkins warned, so if you're into 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love', chances are you'll love this.
