The weekend may have been headlined by the likes of Metallica, Mumford & Sons and The Libertines, but the only word still on anyone's lips is 'BABYMETAL'. Opening the main stage with an absolute mindgasm of thrash metal and choreographed idol pop insanity, they left both Reading + Leeds in fits of joy.

There were more BABYMETAL t-shirts than there were Metallica t-shirts - even being sported by the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and All Time Low. We're not surprised. So intense is the sensation of BABYMETAL, that they've already landed a headlining slot at London's iconic Wembley Arena.
"We actually got the chance to go to Wembley Arena a couple of months ago to see another band, and we were so overwhelmed at the way the crowd reacted to the band on stage," singer Su-Metal told Gigwise. "Now we are looking forward to seeing how people will react to us and how much of a moshpit we can witness there."
