"My first festival was this Welsh folk festival and there was this grunge band on who we thought were amazing but now I think back to it they were probably totally shit", jokes Everything Everything frontman Jonathon Higgs about his first festival.

We caught up with the Everything Everything singer and guitarist Alex Robertshaw to talk about mismatched festival bills (with specific reference to David Gray), collaborations and how well the new album, Get To Heaven, has been going down with the crowds.
When Gigwise asks the members about their latest record, even their 'ums' harmonize. "People are really connecting with the new songs which is exactly what you want", Higgs says while Robertshaw picks up: "It feels like we pushed ourselves to the peak of our abilities as musicians, it's exciting".
