Formerly known as Deers, Spanish garage rock four-piece Hinds have seemingly come out of nowhere to become one of the most talked about bands of the moment.
With just a few demos to their name, their optimistic, lo-fi take on indie has considerable charm to it, whilst their chaotic live shows leaving a trail of destruction and broken hearts in their wake.
Needless to say, if their remarkable ascent so far is anything to go by, then this summer is going to be nothing short of spectacular for the Madrid four piece.
Catching up at Eurosonic Noorderslag, we sat down with Hinds to discuss their fast rise to fame, their creative vision, and how they're doing things differently to everyone else.

Speaking about the optimistic foundation to their sound, guitarist/vocalist Ana Perote said "We like sad songs, because we can be sad too (even if we don't look it) but because a lot of the time we're happy, it's just an easier to write in that way."
The group continued to describe the reasoning behind their name change, their instrumental style, and what the future holds.
