Foals have revealed the second single, 'Mountain At My Gates', to be taken from their forthcoming new album. Listen to it below.
The band revealed the album's enormous title single, 'What Went Down', last month, and its second offering is as "lean and punchy" as Yannis Philippakis promised NME the entire record will be.
The song, with its light summery guitar riff and a drum beat that dances underneath the infectious melody, is destined to become a classic. Eventually, it descends into a wall of noise, with screechy synth sounds and feedback as Philippakis' voice builds into something formidable.

Speaking to Annie Mac about the song, which came together as part of a drunken session in Southern France, Philippakis described it as "poppier, funkier and more down-tempo."
Foals release What Went Down on 28 August. Then, the band will be launching the album with some EU dates, with UK shows expected to be announced soon. Check out the full dates below, with tickets going on sale at 8am on Thursday 19 June. For tickets and more information, visit here.
