Slipknot have revealed their first new song in six years - their first since the death of Paul Gray and the departure of Joey Jordison.
The song, which is called 'The Negative One', has been uploaded to the band's official website, on which they have also revealed plans for a new album.

Slipknot's last album, All Hope Is Gone, was released in 2008, and was their fourth record. However the band's progress was stalled after Paul Gray died of a drug overdose in 2010.
Gray's doctor was recently acquitted of involuntary manslaughter after the musician's wife accused him of prescribing lethal doses of the drug Xanax.
Meanwhile, the band's drummer Joey Jordison parted ways with the group in 2013, but insisted in a statement, "I want to make it very clear that I DID NOT QUIT SLIPKNOT.. This news has shocked and blindsided me as much as it has all of you."
