Foo Fighters have revealed that the first episode of their documentary series, which will feature the first new song from their forthcoming album, is set to air in October.
Sonic Highways, which documents the various studios in which the band recorded their new album, will air on 17 October on HBO, and will run for eight episodes.
The first episode will feature the first new song from their new LP, which is due for release in November.

Producer Butch Vig revealed at the end of last month that the band's new album was complete, writing, "We are officially done with the new Foo Fighters album. 23 straight days mixing! IT'S EPIC!!!"
