A festival-goer has appeared in court, where he admitted filming up the skirts of women at Glastonbury.

Paul Reditt pleaded guilty to two charges of outraging public decency, not just at Glastonbury but also at also at a popular family event in Newcastle.

The 45-year-old confessed to shooting up the skirts of 'random females' at Glastonbury in 2013, reports the Stoke Sentinel, but that he doesn't know what happened to the images.

Reditt, of Romney Avenue in Chesterton, was caught out after police were called to a family festival in Newcastle town centre last May where a woman caught him filming up her skirt while looking at lambs. Police found 36 images filmed up women's skirts, which he was found to be uploading to the website Upskirt.

"A woman was at a stall with her partner's five-year-old daughter," prosectur Paul Farrow told Stoke-On-Trent Crown Court. "There were some lambs for children to look at. She noticed the defendant move next to her and bend down to look at the animals. He was still there a few minutes later when she moved to another stall.

"She was approached by a woman and informed the defendant had been taking pictures. The woman described the defendant looking at sheep but pointing his phone up the victim's skirt. He did this a couple of times."

Judge Fletcher told Reditt: "It is inconceivable and extremely difficult for me to understand the behaviour you were getting yourself involved with on these occasions.

"This has had a completely devastating effect on your family. You need to come to terms with this and do something about your behaviour."

Reditt was handed a three year community order and made him subject to a five year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, as well as being placed on the sex offenders' register for five years and ordered to pay £535 in court costs.
