One man has died and four other festival goers have been taken as seriously ill after what is suspected as drug related injuries at Kendal Calling.
All five people were taken ill in the early hours of this morning (July 30) and rushed to Cumbria Infirmary. The North West Ambulance service confirmed the dispatch of five ambulances to the festival site, arriving at 06:42am, reports Virtual Festivals.
Kendal Calling organisers issued a warning this morning to protect people from any similar incidents.

Police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Manchester on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Greater Manchester Police have also spoken out saying to avoid any green tablets with the Adidas symbol on them, this is what they believe the festival goers ingested.
