Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl has detailed the recovery process for his broken leg - which includes air drumming along to Led Zeppelin three times a day.
The Foos were playing at Gothenburg in Sweden last month when Grohl fell a great height from the stage during 'Monkey Wrench'. He is said to have fallen down a gap between a ramp and the audience, tumbling to the ground.
"I think I just broke my leg," said Grohl as he lay on the ground. "I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back. You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters - we're going to come back and finish the show."
While medics tended to Grohl backstage, the rest of the band played on with covers sung by drummer Taylor Hawkins, before Grohl came back with his leg in a cast to perform 'All My Life'.
The band have since been forced to cancel their European tour as well as their headline Glastonbury appearance. Now, speaking to Q Magazine, Grohl has said that his leg is "doing fine", adding that rehabilitation is "a slow process."

"It's funny, ever since I started playing the drums my right calf muscle has been twice the size of my left from stomping the hell out of my kick drum pedal" he said. "Now it looks like a sad little chicken wing so I've been doing a little bit of my own rehab therapy lately, which is air drumming along to Led Zeppelin three times a day. Sports doctors, take note".
Grohl also revealed that he cried when Florence + The Machine, who stepped in to headline Glastonbury in Foo Fighters' place, covered 'Times Like These' during her slot. "The day after the gig, someone sent me a link to the performance and I cried like a fucking baby," he said. "It melted my fucking heart. I am forever indebted to them. It meant so much, you have no idea."
Foo Fighters have since announced a string of replacement tour dates. See their upcoming UK dates below. Tickets are on sale now. For tickets and more information, visit here.
