The lineup for Chicago’s sixth annual North Coast Music Festival has been unveiled.
Headliners include The Chemical Brothers (who closed the inaugural NCMF in 2010, and who are releasing their new album Born In The Echoes on July 17) and D’Angelo and the Vanguard (who just announced a US tour which will run throughout June). The “surprise rock headliner” on the first night will be announced on May 12.
The festival is being held during Labor Day Weekend (September 4-6) at Union Park.
Amongst the acts playing are Chromeo, Portugal. The Man, Steve Aoki, The Roots, Wale and Twin Shadow. You can view the full lineup below.
North Coast Music Festival looks to bring together a "more diverse range of genres than ever before, and continues the tradition of pushing emerging artists to the forefront while appealing it’s broad musical scope to an equally diverse crowd."
In addition to hosting live music, the festival will also feature a Silent Disco, as well as the “Living Gallery” presented by Elder Tree graffiti area.
Tickets to the festival are on sale now.
