Glastonbury fans have taken online to react to the news that The Who will be the final headliner for Glastonbury 2015, with support from Paul Weller.
After months of rumour, it was revealed that the 'My Generation' rock icons would be the third bill-toppers, closing the bill after huge sets from Foo Fighters and Kanye West earlier in the weekend. Other rumours for the coveted spot included Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Prince and more.
“It’s great to be ending this part of a 50 year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world," said Roger Daltrey of the announcement. "We'll do our best to close this years event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!”
Many Glasto fans do indeed share Daltrey's enthusiasm:
The who at Glastonbury is bloody good news to be waking up to! 🎯🎯🎯🎯
