Azealia Banks brought a stop to her gig in New York City to break up a brawl in New York City. Watch footage of the incident below.
Whilst playing the Irving Plaza on Monday night (11 May), Banks acted as bouncer partway through her track 'Miss Amor', when she saw a part of the jostling crowd turning violent.
She told the troublesome group: "We’re not gonna fight in the crowd you’ve got to figure it the fuck out or you’re gonna get kicked out you understand?"
She then went on to act as Mother: "Stop hitting, I’m gonna count to ten and keep this show going." She preceded to restart the song.

Banks is set to play at a number of UK festivals this year including Love Saves The Day, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds. For tickets and more information, click here.
