Henry Rollins is guest starring in a new children’s show, with the pilot episode set to broadcast on Amazon Instant Video this summer.
Rollins will play the role of Coach Carlucci in A History Of Radness, a show which is being produced by Hannah Montana’s Andrew Green.
The plot focuses on siblings Jack and Tessie, who are aspiring young musicians. They assemble a band of other “like-minded musicians, considered outsiders by fellow classmates”, The Wrap reports.
The show also includes narration from Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds and Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino and a will feature score by former Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle guitarist James Iha.
Speaking of the show, Amazon's Tara Sorensen says that the pilot will “bring sophisticated stories and unique points of view that we hope will resonate well with kids and families. We're very excited to be working with such passionate creative teams and look forward to sharing these projects with our customers later this year."
Amazon customers will be able to watch the show and provide feedback, which will be used to determine if it will become a full series on Amazon Prime.
