A Metallica fan with too much free time has uploaded a video mash up of 'Master Of Puppets' and 'St. Anger' to YouTube.

The user data_dreams 2000 said: "I was bored, so I replaced all the snare hits with the St. Anger snaredrum. You're welcome". So far the video has over 331, 000 views and you can have a listen to it below:

In terms of new Metallica music, Kirk Hammet spoke to Billboard in April and revealed "I would say we're at the 25 percent point, maybe 30 percent point."

"It's hard to say, but I mean we are working on it and there are songs and we're making plans to write more songs and record.”

So hopefully this year there's going to be lots of new Metallica.
