Elton John had a scupper with security at his recent gig in Gloucester - where he told one steward to 'piss off' and likened her to Hitler. He later apologised.
The singer brought a holt to his set to take aim at security: "Lighten up you lot, it's not fucking China so piss off! You get a fucking uniform on and you think you're Hitler ... we're not having it, piss off!"
John had become frustrated where he witnessed security evading people from putting their arms in the air. He later apologised when he was told they were under instruction from security regulations.
He said: "I do apologise, whoever told the stewards to be restricting that, that’s their fucking fault and not hers. So I apologise to her and I would be willing to apologise to her face. So if she comes up now I’ll give her a big hug, come on. You’re doing your job. But it’s so frustrating, if people want to wave their hands don’t tell them to stop. It’s a musical event.”

The pair said: "Transgender women in male prisons have an equal right to protection from violence and abuse in prison, yet they continue to face horrific injustices," and went on to say "This is outrageous, and the message it sends is horrific: that violence against and discrimination of trans people is not only allowed, but sanctioned."
