Miley Cyrus is the new cover star for Paper magazine - and poses naked with a pig on the front page. Because, of course she does.
The magazine have announced the latest issue will be special 'Use Your Voice' summer music edition. Miley Cyrus certainly has no problem with being heard in today's mainstream music press, and her bizarre magazine cover let's us know.
In an exclusive interview with Paper she talks about her unapologetic outlook on life and how happy she has been within herself as of late.
"I was doing a show two nights ago," Cyrus tells Paper, "and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I'm standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly. How the fuck is that fair? How am I so lucky?"
But among her usual gleeful behaviour, Cyrus takes time in the interview to talk about the issues surrounding her 'fluid sexuality' and her engagement with a huge array of social issues. Cyrus recently set up the Happy Hippie Foundation, a non-profit organisation designed to help homeless LGBTQ youth.
The flamboyant cover involved creative director Diane Martel, who also directed Cyrus' infamous 'We Can't Stop' video. According to Paper the shoot had, 'in addition to her shoot co-star, pet pig Bubba Sue... a glass pyramid, some body paint and very little clothing.'
The edition also feature stories and interviews from Pharrell Williams, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan and features on out musicians, plus other artists who have 'used their voice to change the world.'
