Janet Jackson has announced the first leg of her upcoming Unbreakable World Tour, with North American shows kicking off in August. You can view the full list of tour dates below.
While more worldwide dates are expected to be announced, Jackson revealed today that she will be performing 36 shows around the US and Canada this fall. The tour will start in Vancouver, BC on August 31 and run through November 12 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In addition to announcing these tour dates, Jackson also posted a video to her Facebook page, giving fans a look at the auditions for the upcoming tour, which you can watch below.

Earlier this month, Jackson confirmed that her new album – which will be her first in seven years – will be released this fall, via her own Rhythm Nation Records (in partnership with BMG).
She had previously posted a teaser video in which she said: ““I promised you’d hear it from my lips and now you will… This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening; let’s keep the conversation going.”
