Fleetwood Mac headlined the final night of Isle Of Wight Festival yesterday (14 June), during which Stevie Nicks paid tribute to Dave Grohl after he broke his leg earlier in the week.

Fleetwood Mac had cancelled shows in Birmingham and Manchester days before their scheduled headline appearance - prompting concerns over whether they'd be well enough to perform on Sunday. Much to the delight of the enormous crowd though (significantly bigger than previous nights), the band made it to the festival and performed a hit-packed set - though the sound quality was somewhat lacking.

Ahead of 'Landslide', which a few weeks earlier she dedicated to Adele, Stevie Nicks said: "I'd like to dedicate this to Dave Grohl. Falling off stage, getting up and playing a two and a half hour set. I think that's awesome."

Earlier in the evening, First Aid Kit played a beautiful set, which drew heavily from their third album Stay Gold, and also included a cover of Emmylou Harris' 'Red Dirt Girl', as well as the song they named after her - 'Emmylou'.

Paolo Nutini also drew an impressive crowd to the main stage, though Kid Wave, who performed at the same time to a more modest audience, provided a much more vibrant set. Dios Mio's early time slot also meant their audience numbers suffered, but the London four-piece earned the approval of those who had managed to drag themselves out of the tent by midday.

Isle Of Wight Festival came to an end yesterday - with performances from The View, The Courteeners and The Charlatans as well as the aforementioned Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit, Kid Wave and Dios Mio.
