Ride have announced a set of UK tour dates to coincide with the 25th anniversary of their debut album Nowhere.

Ride had their start in the 1988, but their debut Nowhere was released in 1990 to much critical acclaim, with lead single 'Vapour Trail' and its distinctive swirling guitar riff marking them out as one of the best bands from the 90s.

The pioneering 'shoegaze' band originally split in 1996, but reformed in 2014 and have since played dates and festivals across the UK and America - including a storming set at Field Day last week.

Now they're to set out on the road to celebrate Nowhere's release, playing a 8 date tour which kicks off on 11 October in Leeds. They will go on to play major cities across the UK, including Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, Newcastle, Nottingham and London.

Tickets are to go on sale at 10am this Friday (19 June). For tickets and information, visit here
