You might have thought this year's Glastonbury headliners - Kanye West, Florence + The Machine and The Who - were controversial... but it turns out, if things were decided by Spotify streams, the festival would be a very different affair.
According to research carried out by The Guardian, if the festival had been programmed according to the number of listens each acts has had on Spotify in 2015, the three headliners would be James Bay, George Ezra and Hozier.
Florence + The Machine's place on the bill would only fall one space - but acts such as Motorhead, The Who and Paul Weller would find themselves on the bill much earlier in the day.
On the Other Stage, Mark Ronson would replace Rudimental as headliner, Clean Bandit would replace Deadmau5 and Jamie T would replace The Chemical Brothers. Other acts across the festival whose place on the bill would fall include Ryan Adams (who would be replaced by Rae Morris), Jon Hopkins, Spiritualized and Super Furry Animals.
Across three days and three stages in fact, only 10 acts would remain in their original slots. The main stage acts whose position would be unaffected are Mary J Blige, Alabama Shakes, Paloma Faith, The Waterboys and Songhoy Blues.
