Scottish musician Reverieme has revealed her brilliant new single 'Plankton'. Listen to it first on Gigwise below.

Citing Jenny Lewis, Regina Spektor and Kimya Dawson as among her influences, Reverieme, whose real name is Louise Connell, combines the folk sensibilities that pour out through her tender, nostalgic guitar playing with pure, enchanting vocals and lyrics that switch from charmingly sweet to "the fungus that crawled through your heart."

Reverieme has already supported the likes of Gotye, Emmy The Great and Newton Faulkner, and has performed at T In The Park and Wickerman Festival to name but a few.

This year, she'll return to Wickerman armed with her new EP, Or Else The Light, which is out on 20 July - and will also be performing various acoustic gigs in and around Scotland before heading to Sweden at the end of the summer.
