Richard Hawley, John Grant and Bill Ryder-Jones are all set to share the bill at the new and unique 3 Ringed Circus event in Sheffield.
The event will see the three all headline and support each other as they dash between three venues on the same evening at the Steel City in Yorkshire this Autumn.
“Each artist acts as the opening act in a venue, plays 40 minutes stripped down/acoustic set then jumps into a waiting car outside which will speed them to the next venue," says a spokesman. "And the same again to the last venue. So each artist becomes the opener, middle act and headline – and they say democracy doesn’t work!
“And the audience sits still, maybe has another pint, has a chat in between whilst the artist break all speed restrictions in order to get to the next show. The only catch is no one knows what order the artistes will appear at which venue. So it’s pot luck. But the important thing is you get to see Richard Hawley, John Grant and Bill Ryder Jones all on the same bill in the most intimate surroundings."
Hawley recently joined John Grant on stage at Royal Albert Hall with Kylie Minogue, before he himself headlined Royal Festival Hall and proved to be a stunning highlight at Primavera Sound Festival.
