SLØTFACE, FKA SLUTFACE, have laid further claim to the future of guitar music with their blistering new single 'Take Me Dancing'. Check it out below.
Another in a flawless run of pop-punk bangers, the latest cut from the rising Nordic sensation is another blast of pure youthful abandon, set apart by a socially conscious sideways glance at party culture and standing alone.
“Some people were sceptical of us releasing a song about dancing and getting drunk because they felt like it made us ‘less believable feminists’, but that is kind of the whole point of this song,” says singer Haley Shea. “The feminism we have faith in is all about individualism and being free to be yourself regardless of gender. Yes, we believe in equal rights for all genders, but we also like partying and drinking and sometimes we make mistakes, and that’s OK.”
She adds: “All we are trying to say is that it’s OK to let loose and have fun from time to time.”

The band were forced to change their name following online censorship on social media.
They're currently hard at work on their debut album, which is hoped will drop in 2017.
